Dr. Vihra Assenova Jassim

Dr. Vihra Jassim is a highly-qualified physician with more than 25 years experience in the field of internal medicine. She obtained her MBBS and Master Physician from medical academy of Sophia / BG, where she was appointed as an Asst. Professor but decided to pursue further training in Germany, where she worked for six years.

After obtaining her MD/Specialist in Internal Diseases (Board Certified) Dr. Jassim worked in different fields of internal medicine and gained vast experience in cardiology, infectious disease, endocrinology, auto immune and rheumatic diseases.

She was a co-founder of the first rheumatology unit (at Dubai Hospital) in UAE, which was a reference center for rheumatology clinics that opened later in UAE. Dr. Jassim along with her colleagues from rheumatology unit, participated in establishing the osteoporotic clinic in Dubai Hospital.
